ESOGU Special Education Laboratory

The Special Education Laboratory (SEL) which is founded within the Department of Special Education was opened on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 by Rector Prof. Dr. Kemal ŞENOCAK, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Rıfat EDİZKAN, Dean of Education Faculty Prof. Dr. Özden TEZEL, Special Education Department Chair Assoc. Dr. Nevin GÜNER-YILDIZ, and directors from provincial directorate for national education.  Our laboratory, which was founded in the fall semester of the 2019-2020 academic year, has been actively used since the spring semester of the 2019-2020 academic year.

Services Provided by the SEL

Services to be provided in Special Education Laboratory can be listed as; developmental, behavioral and educational assessments of individuals with developmental retardation or at risk in the 0-18 age range; offering counseling to support and direct the families of individuals with various disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder, specific learning disability, and intellectual disability, and the families, teachers, specialists and other stakeholders about inclusion. The listed services are provided by academicians from ESOGU Department of Special Education .
