Education of Children with Intellectual Disabilities

The Intellectual Disabilities Teacher Education program is an undergraduate program that was conducted under the Special Education Department Intellectual Disabilities Education Department, but students were stopped from the 2016-2017 academic year.

Under the Special Education Department, the Department of Education of the Intellectual Disabilities is located. The purpose of this department is to conduct courses related to intellectual disability in the Special Education Teaching undergraduate program, to coordinate courses related to the disability specialization area, to conduct postgraduate education in the field of mental disability and to conduct scientific research on mental disability.

Department of Autism Spectrum Disorder Education

Under the Department of Special Education, Autism Spectrum Disorder Education Department is located. The purpose of this department is to conduct courses related to autism spectrum disorder in the Special Education Teaching undergraduate program, to provide coordination of courses related to autism spectrum disorder specialization, to conduct postgraduate studies in autism spectrum disorder and to conduct scientific research on autism spectrum disorder.

Learning Disability Education

Under the Special Education Department, there is the Department of Learning Difficulty Education. The purpose of this department is to carry out courses related to learning disability in the Special Education Teaching undergraduate program, to coordinate courses related to the learning disability specialization, to carry out postgraduate education in the area of learning disability and to conduct scientific research on learning disability.

Department of Gifted and Talented Education

Under the Special Education Department, Gifted and Talented Education Department is located. The purpose of this department is to carry out special talent-related courses in the Special Education Teaching undergraduate program, to coordinate courses related to gifted and talented specialization, to conduct postgraduate education in the field of gifted and talented and to conduct scientific research on gifted and talented.

Education of the Hearing Impaired

Hearing Impaired Education Department is located under the Special Education Department. The purpose of this department is to carry out courses on hearing deficiency in the Special Education Teaching undergraduate program, to provide coordination of courses related to the field of hearing deficiency, to conduct postgraduate education in the field of hearing impairment and to conduct scientific research on hearing impairment.

Visually Impaired Education

Under the Special Education Department is the Department of Education for the Visually Impaired. The purpose of this department is to carry out the courses related to visual impairment in the Special Education Teaching undergraduate program, to coordinate the courses related to the field of visual impairment, to conduct postgraduate education in the field of visual impairment and to conduct scientific research on visual impairment.
